Club Med Val D'Isere, thank you so much to each and every one of you for a truly exceptional trip. We loved every minute of our stay, which was was made so special by your fantastic team of staff. We have travelled to so many beautiful hotels around the world but have never left a hotel feeling so much of a connection with the staff, as we had at Club Med. The staff were truly exceptional, going over and above every day to provide such a great experience for their guests. Thank you so much Barq for all your care and attention during our stay. Oat, you are a credit to Club Med, thank you so much for all the kindness you had shown to our son throughout the week we were there.

Our room was perfect, hotel itself beautiful, food was absolutely amazing, drinks excellent (beautiful champagne included) kids club for our ten year old was wonderful, entertainment great and location couldn't be anymore perfect. Ski lessons worked seamlessly and our instructors fantastic, Olivier, you were a gentleman.

Some complaints on here about transport from the airport but ours was very prompt and swift with no problems at all. We loved our stay so much that before we checked out we booked again for next year. Can't wait to return. Thanks again.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Club Med Val D'isere. We have 2 boys aged 14 and 11 and being competent skiers they went into an ESF ski group for teens and just loved their skiing across the valleys. Brice, their instructor was hugely experienced and kind and encouraging (especially for teens!) and at the end of the week my boys were sad it was all over! Instructors were attentive in terms of getting mobile numbers swapped with the teens in case anyone got lost (just remind them to put +33 infront of the number for their instructor's French number!) and when we asked to collect the kids one day from a point they were heading to, the instructor asked our boys to confirm who their dad was and that they were happy with the plan before they set off! Impressive!

I'm not a skier and I thoroughly enjoyed the yoga each morning (Emma the instructor was so lovely!) and the Aqua Gym each day too - the 2 instructors worked us hard and helped me justify an extra glass of wine later! The gym was spotless and had everything one would need.

The Club Med staff were extremely attentive and kind. Hasan was the best waiter for us - he'd come and find our family and knew what we'd all fancy drinking!

The buffet 3x a day was extraordinarily fantastic. I've never been on a holiday before where you continue to be amazed by the foods on offer 3x a day! Then there's the amazing afternoon teas swiftly followed by the evening hors-d'œuvres! Absolutely delicious and so varied!

The hotel was immaculate, things were cleaned without us noticing, staff knew exactly what they needed to do each day, the boot room was superbly placed for getting onto the slopes, I honestly can't fault anything!

A very slick ship being run there and 10/10 for service, cleanliness, food, activities, shows, gosh... everything!

Only hiccup on the holiday was the airport agent managing our BA flight from Gatwick to Lyon. We sat for nearly an hour on the tarmac on arrival in Lyon due to incompetence on the ground, then waited a further 45 mins for luggage after we had cleared passport control. On the return, they only opened 2 check-in desks 2 hours before the flight and by then the entire flight of families and luggage were bundled together after having been dropped off so early. The BA flight was fine in itself but the ground staff / agents for BA in Lyon need to work on a much better service in all areas they cover. (Take snacks for your kids as nothing was open when we arrived on the return leg after having left Club Med at 6:45am too - not even coffee shops!). If we are lucky enough to go back to this resort, will definitely look to fly into other airports as most of them are similar distances from Val D'isere.

But overall, a wonderful family holiday, Club Med has won our vote and whilst it isn't a cheap holiday, it really is wonderful in all areas!

Club med Val D’isere is an amazing week long best ski holiday experience you may have. They have partnerships with ESF i.e. if you follow the schedule you will be able to ski with excellent instructors in small groups which you can learn from each other as well as from the instructor. The rooms are spacious , well decorated. The resort has extensive meals options i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner and some days they also organize open air barbecue lunches at the terrace. Every day there is also tea/ pastry hours in the afternoon. The resort has also in house restaurant which was delicious and it is included in the package price. They have in house shop, indoor pool, wellness centre . In the evenings there is a show/ music. A lot of alcoholic beverages are free including coctails

Regarding in house restaurant named Restaurant Millesimes, I had the following food and amazing red winde
Amuse bouche
Foie gras tomat crispy
Potato black garlic

Crispy carrot salad + somon gravlax w/ fish eggs, pickled vegies (cauliflower, broccoli)
Veal sweet potato w/ noisette oil
Salad & truffle borek

Highly recommended it if you have the budget, time and desire to learn skiing

I had a very pleasant stay at Club Med Val d'Isère. The resort is well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere is very inviting. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the bar team and the mini club for their excellent service. A special thank you goes to Calogero, the assistant, for his professionalism and warm presence. I also want to thank Pape, the waiter, and Miranda for their great hospitality. My appreciation extends to the reception team, particularly Laura, for her support. Finally, I would like to thank Barq and his entire team for their outstanding efforts.

I would just suggest to put some vegan option at the gourmet

The skiing here was fantastic with the snow being the best of all time, food was great and the staff were really friendly, special shout out to Mannon Parrou whose just started her role, she was really friendly, welcoming, and was always not shy in socialising with customers. Not to mention her role as well as setting up and sorting out events 😊.
