클럽메드 중에서도 익스클루시브 컬렉션이었던 클럽메드 피놀루! 클럽메드 중 더 럭셔리하고 프라이빗한 리조트라 더 기대됐어요. 그리고 몰디브라니!🏝️

스피드 보트를 타고 피놀루에 도착한 순간 전 "우와- 와우- 우와아아"라는 감탄사만 반복했어요. 너무너무 예쁘고 좋았거든요! 사진으로만 보던 곳을 실제로 봤을 때, 그리고 훨씬 더 멋있고 예뻤을 때 정말 도파민이 넘쳐 흘렀어요. 다녀봤던 클럽메드 중 확실히 가장 고급스럽고 멋있는 리조트였습니다.

그리고 리조트에서 너무 멋있는 Marguerite 촌장님이 따스하게 반겨주어 감사했습니다. 마주칠 때마다 항상 예쁜 미소로 인사해줘서 마음이 따스해졌습니다. 이벤트마다 말씀하시는 게 정말 멋있어요. 아직도 화이트 파티 때 "Cheers to Finolhu!" 라고 말하는 목소리가 기억이 나요 :)

그리고 반갑게 우리를 맞이해 주던 아름다운 Maria와 화이트 파티 때 핑크 가발의 Opic ! 덕분에 더 편안하고 재미있는 피놀루 생활이 될 수 있었어요 :) 파티 때 춤을 잘 못추는데 잘 알려줘서 재밌게 놀 수 있었습니다 😂 덕분에 시간 가는 줄 모르고 즐겼어요 💃🕺

레스토랑과 바의 풍경이 너무 예쁘고 항상 잘어울리는 노래가 흘러나와서 맛있게 식사하고 마실 수 있었습니다. 라운지도 넓어서 시원하게 당구도 쳤어요🎱 ㅋㅋㅋ(제가 졌습니다😭) 바에서도 탁구, 당구를 칠 수 있었고 운동하는 존에서 다른 고객들이 배구하는 모습도 구경하니 심심할 틈이 없었습니다.

한국 사람들에겐 꿈의 휴양지인 몰디브에 있는 클럽메드 피놀루로 휴가를 갈 수 있어 너무 행복했습니다 ! 연인, 친구들과 오기에 너무 좋은 클럽메드이니 꼭 한번 와보세요!

Club Med Finolhu, part of the Exclusive Collection! It stood out as the most luxurious and private resort among Club Meds, so I was super excited. And it’s in the Maldives! 🏝️

The moment I arrived at Finolhu by speedboat, I kept repeating “Wow—wow—woooow!” It was just too pretty and amazing! Seeing in person what I’d only viewed in photos—and it being even more stunning—made dopamine flood through me. Among all the Club Meds I’ve visited, this was definitely the most upscale and impressive.

Marguerite, the incredibly cool Village Chief, warmly welcomed us at the resort—thank you! Her beautiful smile every time we crossed paths warmed my heart. Her speeches at events were so charismatic. I still vividly remember her voice at the White Party saying, “Cheers to Finolhu!” :)

Beautiful Maria greeted us so welcomingly, and Opic with the pink wig at the White Party! Thanks to them, my Finolhu stay felt even more comfortable and fun. :) I can’t dance well, but they taught me so nicely that I had a blast. 😂 Time flew by without me noticing. 💃🕺

The restaurant and bar views were gorgeous, with perfectly matching music always playing, making meals and drinks so enjoyable. The spacious lounge let us play pool coolly—hehe🎱 (I lost). 😆 Ping pong and pool were available at the bar too, and watching other guests play volleyball in the sports zone kept things from ever feeling boring.

Visiting Club Med Finolhu in the Maldives—Koreans’ dream destination—for vacation made me so happy! It’s perfect for couples or friends, so come once for sure.

After a year full of bumps, my wife and I decided to splurge, and this resort exceeded every expectation. Set on its own private island with roughly 50 villas and a maximum of about 100 guests, it offers true seclusion and a remarkably calm atmosphere. During our stay, occupancy hovered around 60%, and it often felt as if there were nearly two staff members for every guest—service was consistently exceptional.

Our butler, Boo, was outstanding: always responsive, proactive, and increasingly thoughtful as he learned our preferences. This level of care extended throughout the resort. Sola, Saaid, and Joy turned every meal into a genuinely enjoyable experience, while Ana, Betty, and Tommy at the dive center were professional, attentive, and led us through excellent dives all week—often with just the dive master and me.

Dining here is very different from a typical Club Med. There is no buffet. Breakfast and dinner are served à la carte from a menu with a limited but well-curated selection, while lunch is organized around four stations, each offering two options. It was never difficult to find something excellent to eat, though guests with specific dietary requirements may occasionally need to make a special request—which the staff handles graciously and efficiently.

The overwater restaurant itself is a highlight. Eating above crystal-clear water feels like dining atop a living aquarium, with rays and sharks gliding beneath you throughout the meal. The resort also organizes special themed evenings—such as White Night and a dinner on the beach—that are nothing short of impressive. The logistical effort behind these events is enormous, yet the staff remains smiling, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic throughout.

The pool area, while the busiest spot on the island, remained peaceful at all times. There was never an issue finding loungers, tables, or hammocks, and noise was never a concern.

We stayed in an overwater villa, and the views were simply spectacular. Every room opens onto sweeping vistas of the pool and ocean, and the villa was quiet and beautifully maintained. This is not a budget vacation, but the quality, privacy, cleanliness, and overall experience made it feel like good value for what you get.

This is also a very different Club Med experience in terms of atmosphere. The clientele is mostly couples celebrating honeymoons or anniversaries, so you won’t find big parties or a lively sports scene. Casual volleyball and pétanque games did happen, but most guests were clearly there to relax. Snorkeling is popular, with boats heading out morning and afternoon, while diving felt almost private.

In the end, this was an exceptional stay in a truly special location, defined by tranquility, impeccable service, and an extraordinary team. We left deeply relaxed and with memories that will last a lifetime.

We had an incredible experience at Club Med Finolhu in Villa 8. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and memorable. From the warm welcome to the exceptional service throughout, every detail was taken care of. The stunning surroundings, and delicious dining options made this vacation truly special. We are also thankful to Ramjay for the live music and he went the extra mile to learn our song request and perform on our last night in the resort. We loved everything about our time with Club Med Finolhu... from the meet team at the airport, to the transfer, to Abu our Butler meeting us on the jetty and taking us directly to the villa we had specifically requested. Abu continued to be magnificent, discrete, highly professional and nothing was ever too much trouble. The snorkelling team lead by Izakay were brilliant and a special shout out to Mohamud, Adam, Opik & Risa who made every session lovely. The restaurant team led by Joy and Suaid was brilliant, and special mentions to Rasal & Leo (we love you guys). Cocktails by Falil were out of this world and a big thank you to the rest of the bar team - Amut, Sumon and James for catering to our every request. The Spa team were superb too and delivered brilliantly.
Finally Marguerite, you run a fabulous team - please can we pass our thanks on to everyone who made our holiday so special.

The staff are amazing! I would like to specifically mention Abu, Leo, Marguerite and all the snorkel team - they were friendly, attentive, and well organised and it felt like they genuinely cared for us and want us to have an amazing holiday.
