Bintan Island INDONÉSIA

I chose Club Med Bintan to celebrate my 40th birthday, and while the overall experience was memorable, there were a few disappointments worth noting.
The service and activities were fantastic – the GOs staff were warm and welcoming, and the beachside atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special shoutout to Syasya, Dimas, and Vera, who were incredibly engaging with my little girl and took special care of her throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention made a big difference.
However, the facilities left much to be desired. My hotel room felt quite run down – the balcony door hinge was coming off. There was no iron or ironing board provided in the room, and when I requested one, I was directed to a hot and secluded amenities room to iron my clothes myself. For a resort of this caliber, I expected more comfort and convenience in basic amenities.
Overall, I had a lovely time thanks to the people and the setting, but I do hope Club Med Bintan invests in upgrading its rooms and guest facilities soon.

Club med bintan was a great experience. Great ambience, lots of things to do, and amazing hospitality. Our kids went to the kids club for a few days and loved it. They particularly loved Rere and kelvin and my son still talks about them days after our trip!
Food quality was good too and all servers and GOs went above and beyond to make our stay fun. Baby food was specially made for us every day and they also gave us some special dishes on our last night. Great experience, especially if you're with friends and kids.

The food and service and people were fantastic. Kids club was great (Rere, Syasya, Yulia, Mimi, Husen, kelvin, angel. Zan, Garfield, Daniel, Dimas, wood and Vera did an amazing job of entertaining our 3 children). Beautiful location. Rooms were a little dated and run down (water in the shower was cold and aircon wasn’t working well, but we were willing to forgive these little problems because everything else including the effort the staff went to made us feel amazing) . Food selection was great. Shows were fantastic. From the second we arrived, everyone would always give a lovely greeting and made us feel welcome. A wonderful holiday overall.
The effort for Halloween was particularly fantastic - we all had a great time.

We are a family of 6 and stayed at Club Med Bintan for 7 nights - LOVED IT! The food is incredible - definitely impossible to go hungry. I'm not usually a fan of buffet but this was next level! Everyone was super friendly - especially ANNE VISSER (one of the GO's) she made a real effort with us - got us all involved in Aqua Fit, Float Fit and even joined us for dinner, drinks etc. On top all that she performed in the shows - turns out she has an amazing voice as well!! Anne was a super star amongst so many others - great entertainment every night. I would recommend Club Med Bintan to anyone - there is so much to do (IF you want to). The beach was beautiful - we prefer beach to pools and this beach was lovely. Rooms are clean and tidy and facilities to match whomever. Our boys used the basketball courts and the pool table most while the girls preferred to lay by the pool or on the beach. We did not go in peak season and loved that we often had the beach to ourselves. We hope to be back!
